Why don't we make it illegal for Peodofiles to have computers?

Whether or not they have pictures on the computer, whether on not they are connected to the internet.

Any Peodofiles and people on the sex registar list should'nt have computers full stop.

(ANS) Actually that is already quite possible under UK law. Especially were the crime or illegal activity has been computer based. Such as fraud or hacking or data theft, anything that comes under the ''computer %26 telecommunications misuse act'' (a law passed many years back I think in the 1980's?).

**YES! but I completely agree with your sentiments I do think this is a VERY very good idea. Especially because its very easily implemented and could easily be policed to make sure such people cannot gain internet access.

**I don't know if this sounds to draconian but perhaps anyone who is found guilty of sexual abuse or internet grooming, child porn use for example should by default NOT be allowed to have or own a computer. If this was made more central as a condition of being on the sex offenders register I think that would be quite a powerful action and would have immediate impact.

REMEMBER:- were NOT talking about just ordinary porn use or porn viewing online but people who have a serious problem.
