How can i use single Rogers cable internet connection for two different desktop computers at home?

i have two desktops and i have a rogers cable internet connection. i want to use internet on both computers. do i need to buy another modem for the second computer?

no just buy a router and plug that into your current modem. if the PCs are close together you can use ethernet from the router to both PCs.



if they are in separete rooms get a wireless router / access point. use ethernet on the closest to the cable modem and a wireless USB adapter for the other PC and connect it wirelesssly

I don't know what Rogers cable is, but my router/modem as four Cat 5 ports in the back so I can hook up multiple computers.
if you want to use internet connection at a same time you will need lan card and you have to create network, i mean connecting two computer through cross over method and sharin internet by two computer each other
