In my opinion the quickest way is to enter clearly wrong information when prompted..for example, if the machine says, ''enter your phone number'', enter a clearly false number, like ''222-222-2222''. Or if they ask for social sec no., enter ''123-456-789''

They'll respond, ''sorry, this isn't in our system. please enter the number.''

Enter the fake number again. The machine will respond the same way.

Usually, on the 3rd attempt they'll say, ''Okay, one moment, I'm trasferring you to a representative..''

works for cable companies, cell phone services, banks, etc.
Try another number INSTEAD of the call center number.

Perhaps the sales office, or accounting or finance. Anything but customer service.

Nope..V9x modems were only desinged to transmit upto 56kbps and that's just about it....but you can have a good 56kbps connection. It all depends in your ISP.

no just buy a router and plug that into your current modem. if the PCs are close together you can use ethernet from the router to both PCs.

if they are in separete rooms get a wireless router / access point. use ethernet on the closest to the cable modem and a wireless USB adapter for the other PC and connect it wirelesssly

I don't know what Rogers cable is, but my router/modem as four Cat 5 ports in the back so I can hook up multiple computers.

How about hooking the printers up to the computers and then sharing them, or are you trying to place the printers away from the computers. otherwise plug them straight into your router if the printers have network ports on them
